SWPF - Saudi Water & Power Forum



The Ninth Saudi Water and Power Forum, produced by the CWC Group and held in partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Water & Electricity and Moya Bushnak concluded on December 3rd, 2013 by offering, an operational insight into the governmental policies, development and implementation of the upcoming sustainable power technologies. The Forum started with the visit of Prince Mishaal bin Majid Abdulaziz and H.E. Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al Hussayen, Minister of Water and Electricity who also delivered a keynote address alongside Dr Adil Bushnak, Chairman & CEO, Moya Bushnak.

Gurpreet Hayre, the SWPF Event Director, remarked, “This year’s Forum was a huge success and attracted a record number of companies, delegates and visitors. The key challenges to the water and power sectors have been both presented and discussed and we hope attendees will have some valuable take-away’s and stakeholders will have reinforced policies which will in turn be implemented.”

The 9th SWPF, which was attended by over 500 delegates and almost 2500 visitors, was exceptionally successful in achieving its aim as it brought all water and power industry segments together under one roof to discuss and promote the technologies for effective energy production within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During various sessions and panel discussions the delegates received a good opportunities to discuss the present and future technologies capable of promoting sustainable power in the Kingdom.

SWPF will take a fresh look at the opportunities for participation and will focus on how we can work together to meet growing demand for more efficient use and sustainable water and power.
